  Uh-MAY-Zing!!!!
  
  This is the BEST Chinese food not only in Fernley, but probably in all of Northern Nevada!
  
  The service is great! Super friendly!
  The food is outstanding! Delicious!
  Straight across the board: Awesome.
  
  Hope you enjoy it as much as we did... do. This is officially our "go-to" spot for those lazy night when we don't want to cook.

  The food was decent, being out in the desert. I ordered scallop with snow peas and found a piece of hair in there. Ordered the rib tip, I did not like it. Both the chicken and house fried rice was good. I also ordered the wonton soup, wonton was good just not the veggies in there. It threw off the flavor.

  China Chef in Fernley isnt your upscale Chinese restaurant, is it bad? Is it good? I'll explain some bad some goods that this local place has going for it.
  
  On any given night your experience may go from Great to Worst like that! My recent visit wasn't too bad because I've had an idea and know what to expect so I'll share a few opinions on what has happen in some of my previous visits so your prepared if you ever find yourself here for a Chinese dinner.
  
  Now by looking at the menu, the menu is laid out and is pretty self explanatory as most menu should be. I like how everything is laid out an has a description and a price. But if your dining out with 2-4 people I'd recommend the Schezwan Dinner (Wor Wonton Soup, Egg Rolls, Foil wrapped Chicken, Krab Ragoons and your choice of an entree) not bad for I think its $11-13 a person. That's about what I order when my wife an I go out.
  
  The Staff, so I've had the pleasure of dealing with a few hostess/waiter/waitress here now I've had issues  with about all of them nothing to bad but one did basically skip us while bringing out food an made us wait about 45min to an hour after repeatedly telling us "oh your food will be right out" but nothing never showed to one asking us if we'd like to experience pouring soup for ourselves. I found that to be kinda humorous actually but after all they didnt.
  
  To Express my overall I opinion about the establishment I'd say if your a local an am looking for a Chinese food place then yes! I'd recommend here over the others in town. But if your heading towards Reno, I'd probably wait til getting out into that area.

  The absolute best food in fernley.  A bit pricey,  but worth it . This is one of the few places in fernley I can go with out getting sick. I love this place and the service is amazing, they are very fast at getting your food to you! You can call and order also :)

  The food is always so good, but the service is terrible. So terrible that my family and I walked out after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to offer us a drink. Pretty upset that we couldn't eat the Chinese we wanted.
